The Microsoft Windows operating system includes Internet Explorer by default, so you do not need to download or install it when you get a computer. However, sometimes Internet Explorer may become corrupted or have issues that are best resolved by uninstalling and reinstalling the browser.
Uninstall Ie 9 And Install Ie 11 Windows 7 Free
Follow the steps below to uninstall Internet Explorer, and, if desired, reinstall Internet Explorer again.
CautionIn the Installed Updates dialog, type ‘ internet ’ in the search field to locate the Internet Explorer 11 list item. Right-click on the Internet Explorer 11 list item and choose ‘ Uninstall ’. Click ‘ Yes’ to confirm the uninstallation. There will be a short delay. Then you will be prompted to restart your computer. To uninstall it, go to the usual place: Control Panel Programs & Features. Click 'View installed updates'. Scroll down to 'Windows Internet Explorer 11'. Right-click it and choose 'Uninstall'. When it's uninstalled you will automatically have your previous version back. I advise you to leave it there.
If you uninstall Internet Explorer and do not reinstall it, you might run into errors in Windows. Some programs and features in Windows are dependent on Internet Explorer and may generate errors if Internet Explorer is not installed.
